A5 2.0T Convertible spotted on U.S soil

Completely out of nowhere and unexpected, the first Audi A5 2.0T made its appearance on U.S soil in the beautiful, sunny State of Florida. As some of you might know, the Audi A5 is available for U.S buyers only in the V6 engine, but rumors of the 2.0T coming to the States have been going around for a while now.

The Audi A5 2.0T is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine outputting 178 horsepower for the front-wheel drive version and 208 horsepower in the Quattro model.

Audi A5 2.0T runs from 0-62 in 6.5 seconds when equipped with the six-speed manual transmission and it reaches a top speed of 153 mph. The vehicle is capable of a reported 36 mpg US in mixed driving making it both a fun and economical car to drive.

We expect the A5 2.0T to be available in October of this year.
